Susaipalayam

In the early 1960s Fr. Felix Pinto, the Parish Priest of Robertsonpet Church felt the need to open a school in the Susaipalyam village.In the year 1964 two Sisters – Srs. Mary Bernard and Maria Anthonia A. were sent to this School.

In course of time the Diocese secured a plot of land and constructed the School building. For some time the Sisters shifted to the School Premises and began staying in a part of the building till they had their own house. Later this Sisters too were able to secure a plot opposite the School and constructed a convent building. The Sisters finally shifted there and settled in a permanent community.

The Sisters continue to insert themselves into the milieu. The call of the Master to be missionaries in all its aspects us very clear to them as they continue their mission in a spirit of joy, love and dedication.
